About BLM
Our big goal is always to facilitate the work of our employees as much as possible. Our
employees have to be very flexible, as the orders are often placed at very short notice,
and are then often on the road for several days. Our special measurement technology always
has to be operated by experts on site, so the resulting travel times can never be
completely avoided. For this reason, it is particularly close to my heart to optimize
route planning.
In addition, digitization will make processes and methods
easier for us. To this end, we are developing our personal digitization roadmap.
Particularly at our site in Munich, we are working with employees in creative workshops to
come up with new digitization ideas. We have a lot of creative employees and would like to
offer even more opportunities to implement ideas here in the future.

Geoscientist
Sascha Kümmel
Since 2020, I have been working for BLM GmbH at the site in Poing near Munich, primarily for the interpretation department. My area of responsibility includes the preparation of the data measured in advance. For this purpose, I translate the resulting raw data into graphics and explain them in a meaningful report. Our client can make a technically based decision through this documentation. My interest in the project as a whole and the flexibility I bring with me, allow my employer to use me in field work as well. I enjoy this alternation between office and field work and find the work at BLM very varied and challenging.
Workshop Technician
Uwe Klein
I am one of the longest-serving employees here in the company and previously worked for several years in the field on construction sites as a measurement engineer. In the meantime, my workplace is here in the workshop. I'm responsible for the repair, care and maintenance of our technical equipment, such as the probes, and the emergency vehicles, from vans to trucks. I am very happy that I can now contribute my many years of experience here in the workshop and pass on my knowledge to my young colleagues.
Geophysicist
Alexander Barthel
Since I was able to successfully complete my desired degree at the beginning of 2022 and borehole geophysics interested me the most, I ended up at BLM GmbH at the Gommern site. Here I work in the field of interpretation of measurement data. Thereby I am responsible for data processing and their evaluation. I also have the freedom to develop and try out new ideas, e.g. for evaluation methods and their presentation. I find my work very varied and interesting.
Office
Anja Eckhardt
I completed my diploma in business administration in the direction of trade. Since 2020, I have been supporting the office team of BLM GmbH in the areas of management assistance and secretariat. My tasks include the daily organization of the office as well as correspondences especially the external communication. I am also responsible for checking and keeping track of the completeness of documents and forms, as well as the continuous maintenance and adjustment of databases. I enjoy coming to work and look forward to the daily challenges!
